Sculpture Space

The early function of sculpture is to cooperate with architectural space.Space is the premise of material existence,and sculpture has materiality.Therefore,sculpture works are the art of space possession.With the development of The Times and the updating of artistic concepts,sculptors are no longer satisfied with the study of sculpture as a material means of space possession,and begin to seek for sculpture space in addition to it.This kind of exploration has risen to the category of spiritual level.The understanding of sculpture space is the art language that should be prepared by sculpture artists.It is the prerequisite for any successful sculpture art whether it is physical space or psychological space.Only by returning to the study of sculpture space language can we have a deeper understanding of sculpture art.The development of sculpture is inseparable from the study of sculpture space.In this paper,first of all,the development of sculpture space is sorted out,meaning to find sculpture artists in the process of exploring the space language to grasp the rules,and then to do a specific analysis of the sculpture space language,find its different nature,explore the mystery of its form,so as to expand to a deeper and broader direction.Finally,I hope to have a better and more comprehensive understanding of sculpture space language and use space language to complete sculpture creation in the future.
