Individual knowledge is the basis of the professional development of primary school English teachers,the foundation of effective teaching,the key to the success of basic education curriculum reform,and the driving force of teacher education reform.Based on the literature review at home and abroad and the requirements of the times,this study clarifies the normative issues of what individual knowledge primary school English teachers need to possess.Taking primary school English teachers as the research object,this study uses questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview to understand the reality of individual knowledge generation of primary school English teachers,and then follows the logic mechanism of knowledge generation for primary school English teachers.Knowledge generation and its strategies are studied.This study consists of five parts:The first part is the introduction.This part first explains the importance of individual knowledge to individual teachers,teachers' teaching,curriculum reform and teachers'education reform.It points out that this study is carried out to meet the practical needs and improve theoretical research.After sorting out,summarizing and analyzing the relevant literature and books,the origin,connotation and classification of individual knowledge and the source of teachers' individual knowledge are discussed.This paper summarizes and briefly evaluates the elements and influencing factors of English teachers' individual knowledge,and then defines five core concepts:individual knowledge,teacher's individual knowledge,English teachers' individual knowledge,primary school English teachers and generation.Finally,it briefly introduces the research methods adopted in this study.The second part is the theoretical basis for the generation of individual knowledge of primary school English teachers.This part uses Polanyi's personal knowledge theory to clarify the origin,nature and acquisition mode of individual knowledge;uses constructivist learning theory to explain how primary school English teachers acquire knowledge and the specific process of knowledge construction;and uses Wittrock's generative learning theory to reveal the essence of human learning,generative learning elements and to describe the process of human learning to expand primary school English.Based on the theoretical basis of individual knowledge generation of teachers,this paper identifies the necessary conditions for individual knowledge generation of primary school English teachers,explains the transformation mechanism between different kinds of knowledge in primary school English teachers' individual knowledge,guides the construction of individual knowledge generation model,and then constructs a new model of individual knowledge generation of primary school English teachers.The third part is about the current situation of primary school English teachers'individual knowledge.In this part,questionnaires and semi-structured interviews are used to investigate the current situation of educational science knowledge,English subject knowledge,teaching practice knowledge and cultural knowledge in primary school English teachers' individual knowledge,and to analyze the survey data and texts.The fourth part is the model construction of primary school English teachers'individual knowledge generation.Firstly,according to the results of the current survey,this paper makes an analysis of the problems existing in the individual knowledge of primary school English teachers.Secondly,according to personal knowledge theory,constructivist learning theory and generative learning theory,this paper makes a thorough analysis of the conditions for primary school English teachers' individual knowledge generation.Finally,on the basis of SECI knowledge transformation model and the logic mechanism of individual knowledge generation,this paper constructs an individual knowledge generation model for primary school English teachers,and elaborates on the interrelationship between different types of knowledge in individual knowledge structure,the internal components of individual knowledge and the whole process of individual knowledge generation.The fifth part is the main strategies for primary school English teachers to generate their individual knowledge.Based on the survey of the third part,this part,combined with the analysis of the problems,causes and conditions of individual knowledge generation in the fourth part,and relying on the new model of individual knowledge generation,puts forward some suggestions on the generation strategies of educational science knowledge,English subject knowledge,teaching practice knowledge and Chinese and Western cultural knowledge in primary school English teachers' individual knowledge.
