| This paper bases on Heidegger s ’Being and Time’,attempting to explain the connotation of Heidegger’s ’world’.This concept of is the result of Heidegger’s unique thinking way,and it is one of the keys that Heidegger’ used to expanded the horizon of phenomenology. The famous distinction of the being made by Heidegger has been clearly explained in this concept. He talked about the world and the being. It s not discussing the problems in the external world, but discussing how things appear before people, and how are they discovered and revealed. The being is not beings,it s rather a place and where a person can meet and reveal beings. This field is closely related to the original and pre-scientific way of human life. Thus,Heidegger opposes the Western scientific way of thinking, which separate people from their world by a certain discipline, then identifying their analyse—such as personality, biology, ethnography, etc.—as the only truth. On the contrary,in Heidegger’s view, the results of these rational thinking are the secondary, all rooting in the ordinary daily life of human being.People are not lives in the blank, but in the ’world ’,where they are closely related to tools and other man.In order to explained this ’world’ which has nothing liking to other thing,Heidegger used the way called ’formal manifestation’.It doesn’t refer the beings, but talks about relationships.Heidegger pointed out that people are always related to tools in their daily lives, which the correlation called ’Besorge’.The way we use the tools and the way we determine the utility of the tools are guided by the "use" between different appliances. This guidance is ultimately based on the common sense that we share with each other. At the same time,we give meaning to each being, and link them into a network of meanings.Things appear and becomes their own before us.Heidegger believed that it s meaningless to discuss what exists out of the human vision.Because once you get rid of the world of meaning, there is no more basis or entity, but nothing. But this does not mean that people can identify things arbitrarily and do whatever they want.On the contrary, both things and people are subject to the conventions. This article is divided into three parts. The first part discusses the philosophical background before ’Being and Time, which mainly discuss Husserl’s efforts to solve the dilemma of Cartesian philosophy in traditional philosophy, and the problems Husserl encounters as well. The second part discusses how Heidegger breaks through this bottleneck, how the concept of "world"emerges and unfolded in Heidegger s philosophy. The third part discusses the shortcomings of this concept, and Heidegger s amendments to it,and the evaluation of future generations. |
