Based on the dual attitudes theory, this study examines the explicit and implicit attitudes of college students on females suffering sexual assault and the influence of imaginary contacts on two levels through questionnaires and experimental methods. The study used a convenient sampling method to select college students(undergraduate and graduate students)in Nanjing, and determined the experimental materials through previous investigations. In the study 1,Rape Myth Acceptance(RMA)was used to facilitate the sampling of 748 Nanjing college students' rape myths to get the explicit attitude of college students to females suffering sexual assault. At the same time,it discusses whether there is a difference in the acceptance of rape myth among college students in demographic variables(gender, grade, and place of origin).Descriptive statistics, independent sample T test, and one-way ANOVA were used to derive the results.Study 2 analyzes the overall status of the Rape Myth Acceptance and the D-scores obtained from the Single-Class Implicit Association Test(SC-IAT)under the interference of previous contact experience, and perform a difference test on the body variables(gender, source of origin, parental education level).Descriptive statistics, independent sample T test, and analysis of variance were used to derive the results.Study 3 was developed on the basis of Study 2.By measuring the explicit and implicit attitudes of the subjects under different imaginary contact conditions(landscape imagination/positive contact imagination/non-evaluation contact imagination)to examine the impact of imaginary contact on both explicit and implicit levels, and examine whether this effect has an interaction with gender.Descriptive statistics and multivariate analysis of variance were used to derive the results. After analyzing and discussing, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)College students generally do not accept the rape myth, that is,the explicit attitude of women who are victims of sexual assault is not negative;the explicit attitude is affected by gender and grade factors, and is not affected by the factors of the place of origin;(2)College students have non-negative explicit attitudes and negative implicit attitudes towards sexually assaulted women, showing inconsistencies between explicit and implicit attitudes;implicit attitudes are influenced by gender factors, and male students' implicit attitudes are more negative.Implicit attitude does not differ significantly in parental education level and the place of origin;(3)Positive imagination can reduce the negative degree of explicit and implicit attitudes of students against females suffering sexual assault, and the effect is more obvious at the implicit level;there is no significant influence on the explicit and implicit attitudes of non-evaluation contact imagination. It can be seen that the explicit and implicit attitudes of college students to females suffering sexual assault are inconsistent, and gender factors have an impact on them, but the influence of other factors is not obvious.Positive imagination can reduce the negativity of these two attitudes, and the effect is more obvious in the implicit attitude.
