The Shandong Provincial Cultural Center was formerly known as the Shandong Provincial Mass Art Museum and was founded in 1957.Now affiliated to the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism,it is the Shandong Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center,the government's mandatory and social welfare major mass cultural activities organization and planning center,the mass culture and art research,theoretical research center and social art education.And the counseling center;at the same time,it is also the main front for the masses to carry out cultural and artistic activities,and plays an important role in guiding and demonstrating the social and artistic activities of the province.In the early stage of development,the museum collected a large number of folk songs and folk instrumental music,and published multiple collections based on the research.In the 1980 s and 1990 s,the Provincial Cultural Center ushered in a period of prosperity,compiling and publishing "Chinese Folk Songs Integration · Shandong Volume" and "Chinese National Folk Musical Music Integration · Shandong Volume",providing a valuable score for the study of Shandong folk music.,text and image materials.Since 2000,the Provincial Cultural Center has entered the period of pioneering,innovative and development in the new century.It has organized and circulated folk music backbones to create and circulate performances,participate in various competitions at various levels,and showcase the charm of Shandong folk music to the whole country and the world.This article is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the history and current situation of the cultural center of Shandong Province.From the three stages: growth period(1957-1977),prosperity period(1978-1999)and stable period(2000-2017),the development and history of the cultural center will be 60 years.The meticulous combing and induction;the second chapter focuses on the museum's contribution to the mining,collection and collation of folk music,compiling and publishing music integration and the protection of folk music clubs and musicians.The third chapter mainly discusses the contribution of the provincial cultural center in the popularization of music.It focuses on the music talents,organizing folk songs and other ways to discover music talents,showcase the folk style of Shandong folk music,and expand the influence of Shandong folk music;The outstanding contributions of some music working group members represented by Miao Jing,Jin Xi and Wei Zhanhe are summarized.The conclusion summarizes the contribution of the Shandong Provincial Cultural Center to the protection and inheritance of Shandong folk music and the contribution of the Shandong Provincial Cultural Center.He also believes that the protection of folk music by the Shandong Provincial Cultural Center not only lays a solid foundation for the development of the current folk culture,but also opens a new chapter for the promotion of the spread of Chinese traditional culture.
