Chinese language is an important emotional bond that connects Chinese at home and abroad.Since the reform and opening up in the 1980s,China's economy has developed rapidly,its comprehensive national strength has been growing day by day,and its international status has been significantly enhanced."Let the Chinese language to the world" is China's needs,but also the needs of the world.Southeast Asia has always been the top priority of Chinese communication in China.They have a long history with China.Apart from their geographical proximity,China and southeast Asian countries have maintained close exchanges in history.Chinese language education in Malaysia has undergone some twists and turns.At the same time,however,we must realize that the development of Chinese language education still faces many difficulties and challenges.Therefore,it is of great importance and necessity to study the dissemination of Chinese in Chinese schools in Malaysia.In this paper,questionnaires and interviews are used to investigate the motivation of Chinese learners in Chinese schools in Malaysia.It is found that Chinese students are special in Chinese learning,and their unique living environment and ethnic identity have a great influence on their Chinese learning motivation.Although they also regard Chinese as an important communication tool and personal skill,Chinese people's special ethnic feelings,sense of belonging and values also influence their motivation to learn Chinese.For non-chinese students,personal interest,work needs and self-esteem needs are the most important factors.I combine with the various countries' foreign students Chinese language learning motivation research data and the interview results,Malaysian Chinese school Chinese language learners to type into motivation,extrinsic motivation,achievement motivation and instrumental motivation and learning situation motivation to do a thorough research,found that the motivation of learning Chinese between heritage and the non-heritage learners in Chinese schools in Malaysia vary a lot,proposed in view of the Chinese school in Malaysia Chinese strategy for arousing learners' motivation,to develop the overseas Chinese education,inheriting the excellent Chinese culture,keep the Chinese national identity,unity of overseas Chinese community to provide the inexhaustible source of power.
