Research On Place Name Culture Of Qufu Ancient City

As a product of the development of social history,place names record the changes of the times,have rich historical and cultural connotations,are the "living fossils" of Chinese excellent traditional culture,and are an important part of intangible cultural heritage.The regional geographical names,as a member of the large family of geographical names,also carry the specific historical and cultural connotations of the region,providing a new perspective and source of information for the study of regional development.The ancient city of Qufu has a history of more than 3,000 years since its inception.It is the hometown of Confucius,which is known as the “Wan Shi Shi Table”,and the birthplace of Confucian excellent traditional culture.It is one of the first 24 historical and cultural cities in China.It has a long history and a strong cultural atmosphere.The place names of Qufu ancient city are the invisible recorders of its unique historical and cultural connotations.The fluctuations of political,economic and ideological factors in different times will have an impact on the place names,making them change or increase or decrease,which also enables us to explore the historical development process of the region through the study of the evolution of place names in different historical periods.The formation of Qufu ancient city place names is inseparable from the unique history of Qufu and the influence of Confucian culture.In this paper,the name of the street,the name of the village and the name of the building in Ming City are called research objects.Combined with the historical background of the names of the cities in the city after the Ming Dynasty was built,the development and evolution of the names of Qufu ancient cities since the Ming and Qing Dynasties were carried out.After combing and analyzing,I have a general understanding of the place names since the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Later,the causes of the place names of the Qufu ancient city were explained in more detail.At the same time,from the relationship between Qufu's place name and local people's social mentality,Confucius and Confucian culture,folk culture legends and business culture,the rich cultural characteristics of geographical names are elaborated.Finally,some suggestions for the protection of Qufu geographical names cultural heritage and future naming renaming are put forward.As a record of Qufu's unique context,Qufu's place name embodies a strong Confucian cultural connotation,which is also the unique place of Qufu's place name.Therefore,in the future development of Qufu Ancient City,it is necessary to do a good job in protecting the old place names and new place names.The construction work has made the place name a beautiful cultural card for Qufu.
