As Confucianism became the exclusive ideology of the society, the ancient China was considered as RuJiaoZhongGuo, needless to say the Qing dynasty. The emperors of Qing dynasty were considered as the emperors who worship Confucius the most, which can also be told by the inscriptions located in Qufu. The most of the inscriptions located in Qufu which were made by the emperors are made in Qing dynasty, from which we can also tell that the emperors of Qing dynasty worship Confucius the most. No wonder, value Confucius was not the emperors’ individual preferences, but because of a deep consideration. To deal with Nationalism conception was their initial motivation. This passive cultural choice soon became the emperors’ proactive cultural policy. With their understanding to Confucius and Confucianism deepens, emperors profoundly realized that without Confucianism they can not effectively govern the country. In order to rule their country effectively, Qing emperors took education as their mission. They expressed their respect to Confucianism from many aspects, such as valuing the ceremony hold in Confucian temple, giving preferential treatments to confucius’ posterity and so on. All this measures not only ensured the status of Confucianism, but also demonstrated the legitimacy of their rule.In the influence of the emperors of Qing dynasty, the literati and officialdom were also valued Confucius and Confucianism very much. Through the tablet inscriptions, they expressed their respect and belief to Confucius and Confucianism. The ultimate goal was to make "dao" come true, for which the support of the rules was essential. The inscriptions made by the literati and officialdom told us that they emphasized the rinfluence of the emperors to the Cultural heritage. No wonder, the impact of a combination of Confucianism and the regime is two-way,on the one hand, it helps to spread Confucianism, but on the other hand, it may give emperors the control of cultural discourse, thus make academy yield to power, departing from the original spirit when it conbines to society. As science was backward, variety of folk beliefs were popular among ordinary people. The inscriptions established by them were basically related to Buddhist or Taoist. But as Confucianism has been the exclusive ideology of the society for a long time and the emperors worship Confucianism, people even who accept very little education would accept Confucianism as their criterion. No doubt that these inscriptions of Qing dynasty located in Qufu can not tell us everything about the circumstances of Confucianism at that time. But the limited inscriptions are of great significance to the related research. As long as we study carefully, we can find plenty of useful information.
