With the constantly advancement of society and the improvement of economic level, the ubiquitous competition is characterized by a younger age, under this circumstance, many students in the youth stage have a inferiority experience to some extent.Adolescents are at an important turning point in life and are prone to change greatly in both psychology and physiology such as becoming psychologically sensitive and highly-strung,vulnerable to changing in psychological environment along with the changes of the outside world. If it fails to be discovered and intervened in time,it will easily lead to inferiority complex and then inferiority psychological problems.Excessive inferiority complex will lead to the disconnection of young people from reality and difficulty in integrating into social life, hindering the development of healthy personality, greatly impairing the physical and mental health of students, and is not conducive to the implementation of quality education and the cultivation of qualified personnel. Therefore,we need to strengthen the attention for the inferiority of adolescents.In-depth study on adolescents' inferiority complex and self-esteem intervention has strong practical significance. The application of positive psychology in psychological intervention and mental health education effectively improves the level of life satisfaction and subjective well-being of the intervention subjects.Intervention research on positive psychology in the field of inferiority helps to improve the mental health of adolescents and promote the development of mental health education. This study uses positive psychology theory to intervene in the inferiority problem of adolescents, offering corresponding reference for adolescents' inferiority psychological group counseling and case consultant, promoting the application and development of positive psychology, and providing important reference and guidance for adolescent mental health education.Combined with the psychology mechanism of adolescents' inferiority, the study utilize The Feelings of Inadequacy Scale revised by Fleming and Courtney's(1984)to set to study from five factors of self-esteem,social inferiority, academic inferiority, inferiority, and self-esteem.Through positive psychotherapy from the perspective of positive psychology combined with mindfulness cognitive therapy, seven interventions were carried out.The independent sample t-test was performed on the pre-test and post-test data of the experimental group and the control group, and the following conclusions were drawn:1.The level of adolescent inferiority is not significantly different in age, whether it is only child, whether it is single-parent family, parents' occupation, father's education level, family location;but is dramatically different in gender, grade, mother's education, different family relationships, their grades in class.2.After the intervention, the pre-test and post-test inferiority level of the experimental group had significant effects on the reduction of social inferiority and the inferiority of self-esteem,while the decrease amplitude on self-esteem,academic inferiority, and physical inferiority were relatively small; There was no significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results of the inferiority level;the mean values of the post-test levels presented by the experimental group and the control group were significantly different. It shows that the intervention activities have a good effect on the reduction of the level of adolescents' inferiority. The intervention improved the adolescents' inferiority problem, rise their mental health, and provided a new perspective and practical basis for the psychological problem solving of adolescents, which helped young people to form a positive self-concept,improve self-identity,form a virtuous circle, and improve their mental health level.
