On The Musical Style And Performance Skills Of Bach's "Italian Concerto"

Johann Sebastian Bach is a musician who inherits the past and the future in the history of Western music.He has created a large number of classical music works and is known as "the father of Western music".Italian Concerto,as a solo concerto,is one of Bach's most mature keyboard works.It has a variety of musical emotions and unique creative techniques.It breaks through Bach's previous creative style and marks Bach's keyboard music moving from presentation to personalization,which has a profound impact on later composers.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is about the background of the Italian Concerto.It expounds the music characteristics of Baroque period and the background of the Italian Concerto.The second chapter is an overview of the musical style of Italian Concerto.It includes two parts: baroque style and the particularity of music style.The third chapter is the analysis of the performance skills of Italian Concerto.This paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the performing skills of Italian Concerto from the aspects of music texture,timbre,tonal decorative tone and the use of pedals.
