| Globalization of the world economy has been the origin of many opportunities among countries. Many companies have begun to invest abroad to maximize profits, and more and more overseas subsidiaries have been established to create employment opportunities for local and overseas employees. In this context, different cultures begin to meet, and mix.Specifically, each employee enters the company with his own culture(the economic and political environment of different countries, the difference in education level),and the employee’s own cultural characteristics sometimes do not match with the company’s values. Therefore, the cultural differences between different countries are unfavorable to the development of the organization to a certain extent, and will pose a threat to the management and development of the company.Today,we are targeting Chinese companies because of their great influence on the international market, especially on the African continent. With the implementation of the "Belt and Road Initiative" initiative, many Chinese companies have gradually transferred their overseas program to African countries, especially in sub-Saharan Africa. This new investment creates many problems, including employee management and leadership issues. We are trying to explore the cultural differences faced by Chinese companies in the process of investing in Cote d’Ivoire. And the influence of China and cultural differences on employee satisfaction in Cote D’Ivoire, and in-depth study of the role of mindfulness in the relationship between cultural differences and job satisfaction. This paper explores the impact of cultural differences on job satisfaction, where the measurement of cultural differences is based on Hofstede’s Cultural Dimensional Scale. This study conducted a questionnaire survey of several Chinese companies in the construction, telecommunications, and engineering fields in Cote d’Ivoire, and collected 351 sample data. This paper uses the literature combing method, the questionnaire survey method and the empirical analysis method to verify whether the theoretical model of the research is consistent with the research hypothesis. The results confirm that cultural differences have a significant impact on job satisfaction. In particular, strong cultural differences will lead to higher job commitments and lower job performance;the results also confirm that mindfulness plays a regulatory role in the relationship between the uncertainty avoidance dimension of cultural differences and job satisfaction. Therefore,in the management of employees in enterprises,it is necessary to consider the good relationship between superiors and subordinates, good working conditions and good salary. The author found that when using the Hofstede Cultural Dimensional Scale, the scale is difficult to measure their mental health. Therefore,at the end of the article, the limitations, improvements and research prospects of this study are presented. |
