From "Pioneer Of The War Of Resistance" To "Cultural Standard Bearer"

Based on the commemorative activities after Lu Xun’s death,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the construction process of "Lu Xun’s image" under the background of the Anti-Japanese War,focusing on the image of "the vanguard of the Anti-Japanese War" characterized by the unity of the two parties in the early stage of the Anti-Japanese War and the discourse system of the independent revolution of the Communist Party in the later stage of the Anti-Japanese War.The transformation process of the image of "cultural flag bearer" formed under the interpretation is described in detail.The different construction principles and unique elaboration elements contained in the process of shaping "Lu Xun’s image" in the early and late stages are described in detail.The transformation process of "Lu Xun’s image" and its complex causes are revealed and analyzed in depth.The study of Lu Xun’s image has always been the focus of academic research.To sort out and analyze the evolution process of Lu Xun’s image under the background of the Anti-Japanese War is not only a supplement and deepening of the study at this stage of the Anti-Japanese War,but also a reference and paving the way for the study of "returning to Lu Xun" since the new period.On the basis of consulting a large number of historical materials,this paper first describes and summarizes the "image of Lu Xun" presented in the early and late periods of 1940.In the early period,it combs the United anti-Japanese war under the call of "Lu Xun Spirit" and the anti-Japanese literature propaganda guided by Lu Xun’s creation.In the later period,it combs the theme of anti-Kuomintang atrocities and the direction of "new democratic culture" in commemorative activities.The two aspects of Lu Xun’s image-building are sorted out to show the whole process of Lu Xun’s image construction from the national standpoint to the class standpoint.Secondly,this paper makes a detailed analysis of the construction of Lu Xun’s image in the context of the Anti-Japanese War,including his contribution to national liberation in the early stage of the war,his anti-imperialist attitude in the course of the war,his writing upsurge as a weapon reflecting and criticizing reality,and his writing upsurge as a weapon in the later stage of the war.The choice of the revolutionary road,the guiding ideology of the revolution,and the interpretation of Lu Xun’s works from the perspective of class and politics show the whole process of Lu Xun’s being carefully constructed as a "vanguard of the Anti-Japanese War" and a "cultural flag bearer".Finally,we should dig deeply into the causes of the transformation of Lu Xun’s image in the early and late stages.On the one hand,through a series of anti-Communist actions made by the Kuomintang under the destruction of the Anti-Japanese National United Front,we can dig out the beginning and end of the struggle for the revolutionary discourse power between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party.In fact,it is one of the fundamental reasons for Lu Xun’s participation in the transformation of interpreting members,discourse content and discourse the change and entanglement of the leadership power within the Communist Party involves the struggle for the leadership discourse power of the three parties,namely,the Northern Shaanxi Central Committee represented by Mao Zedong,the Moscow Central Committee represented by Wang Ming and the Communist International of the Soviet Union.The discourse of the new democratic revolution established by Mao Zedong directly affects the discourse expression of Lu Xun’s image construction.Here,this paper reveals the complex motivation behind the seemingly simple transformation in the process of Lu Xun’s image construction,which provides a possibility for further understanding the process of Lu Xun’s image construction.Starting from the construction process of Lu Xun’s image,this paper effectively restores the era of the Anti-Japanese War,explores the interpretation path and motivation of Lu Xun’s research discourse in the entanglement of national and class standpoints,and also provides a reference for the subsequent re-study of Lu Xun’s image,and becomes an effective point of view in Lu Xun’s research.
