Problem behavior is one of the indicators to judge whether junior middle school students have favourable social adaptation.According to the view of ecosystem theory,the problem behavior is formed by the combination of environment and individual factors,in which family is the main environment factor.Therefore,this study selected parent's psychological control and parent-child relationship among family factors and trait emotional intelligence among individual factors.To explore the comprehensive impact mechanism of the above three factors on the junior middle school students' problems.This study takes junior middle school students in three grades of four middle schools in Guangzhou as the research object,and takes the form of questionnaire,which includes the self-assessment questionnaire of adolescents' problem behavior,the scale of parent's psychological control,the trait emotional intelligence questionnaire and parent-child intimacy scale.The demographic variable analysis and structural equation modeling analysis of the questionnaire data were carried out by using spss21.0 and mplus7.0 statistical software.The following main results were drawn:(1)The level of parent's psychological control was significantly different in the gender,the difference in the grade was not significant.The perceived level of parent's psychological control of male students was significantly higher than that of female students.The relationship between mother and child was significantly different in gender,but not in grade.The intimacy between mother and child was higher than that of male.The relationship between father and child is not significantly different in gender,but is significant in grade.Father-son intimacy of senior students is lower than that of lower grade students.There are significant differences in the trait emotional intelligence in both gender and grade.The overall level of trait emotional intelligence of male students was significantly higher than that of female students,and the overall level of trait emotional intelligence of senior students was significantly lower than that of lower grade students.The problem behavior of junior middle school students has no significant difference in gender,but significant difference in grade.With the promotion of grade,the more problem behavior is.(2)The psychological control of father and mother could significantly predict the problem behavior of junior middle school students.The high level of psychological control of father and mother could increase the frequency of problem behavior.(3)The trait emotional intelligence played a part of mediating role in the relationship between father's psychological control and problem behavior.The intermediate effect could account for 47% of the total effect.At the same time,the trait emotional intelligence played a part of mediating role in the relationship between mother's psychological control and problem behavior,and the intermediary effect could account for 53.6% of the total effect.Research showed that high level of parental psychological control would weaken junior middle school students' trait emotional intelligence ability,and further increase the problem behavior.(4)The relationship between father and child played a regulating role in the relationship between father's psychological control and problem behavior,as well as in trait emotional intelligence and problem behavior.The results showed that with the increase of father-son intimacy,the effect of father's psychological control and trait emotional intelligence on the problem behavior would be enhanced.Mother-child relationship played a significant role in regulating the relationship between mother's psychological control and problem behavior,which indicated that high-quality mother-child relationship can enhance the effect of mother's psychological control on the problem behavior.Based on the above results,it can be concluded that parental psychological control will affect the problem behavior of junior middle school students,and parental psychological control will also indirectly affect problem behavior through trait emotional intelligence,in which father and child,mother and child relationship will regulate the influence of father and mother's psychological control on problem behavior and the influence of trait emotional intelligence on problem behavior.
