As a national art form,Japanese ukiyoe has experienced its formation,development,heyday and decline.It borrowed from China and flourished in Japan,but it influenced the process of western art in its gradual decline.Especially for the mid and late 19 th century French impressionist and post-impressionist nabi pie has subtle influence of artists,such as the impact on the transformation of western art from realism to modernism has played a very important role in the process,the eastern and western art exchange also in western art history spectrum has a pen.This paper makes a concrete analysis of the artistic characteristics of ukiyo-e and the reasons for the westward flow of ukiyo-e,and analyzes the influence of ukiyo-e on western painters since the 19 th century.At the same time,it reviews the influence of western painting on Japanese art and the integration and development of contemporary art,and sorts out the result and significance of the floating world and the inspiration for us to inherit our national traditional culture.
