The Yan family has always been famous and has made great achievements in linguistics, exegesis and philology. As a member of the Yan family,Yan Zhenqing not only made a great contribution to the history of calligraphy, but also had his own unique views on philology. This paper takes Yan Zhenqing's ten inscriptions on a tablet as the research object.By studying the characteristics of Yan Zhenqing's use of inscriptions,it is found that Yan Zhenqing has a standard, correct and strict view of writing. The paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which mainly explains the research status, purpose, significance and research methods. The second chapter mainly makes statistics on the use of Yan Zhenqing characters in the early, middle and late periods and word frequency. It is found that on the one hand the majority of Yan Zhenqing standard characters are used in different periods, while the phenomenon of using vulgar or erroneous characters is rare.On the other hand,Yan zhenqing used more common characters. The third chapter finds that the vast majority of his inscription characters are standard characters, compareing Yan Zhenqing's t inscriptions with Gan lu Zi Shu,Wu Jing characters,Jiu Jing characters and Tang Shi Jing.Specifically, compared with ganlu calligraphy,83% of the characters used are the orthography,14% are the general handwriting, and 0.03% are the common characters.Compared with the Wu Jing characters,89% of the characters used in the Wu Jing characters are those of Lisheng and Shijing, which have the same writing style as those in the Wu Jing characters.Compared with the characters in the Jiu Jing characters it is found that 88.6%of the characters used in the Jiu Jing characters are the same characters used in li sheng,li bian and shi jing.Although there are slight differences in the writing of the official characters appearing in these books, they all come from such books as Shuo Wen Jie Zi,Shi Jing and Gan Lu Zi Shu,Wu Jing characters and Jiu Jing characters and belong to the category of standardized characters.Compared with Tang Shijing,it was found that 1124 of them were the same as Tang Shijing, accounting for 90.3% of the total number of characters used by Yan.Chapter four mainly studies Yan Zhenqing's different characters from three aspects: whole character, component and strokes,in order to explore Yan Zhenqing's unique characters. From the whole character analysis,we found that Yan Zhenqing mostly followed the ancient writing methods such as Xiaozhuan and Li Shu.From the component aspect,we divide these components into analogy component and non-analogy component, and find that Yan Zhenqing's early writings adopted thewriting method of variant characters. From the perspective of stroke,we found that Yan Zhenqing's the writing style of Chinese characters is rigorous by analyzing the length, number, different strokes and the relationship between strokes and strokes. The fifth chapter analyzes the use of characters in Yan Zhenqing's three periods, and finds that the three periods use the normative characters, while the middle and late standard characters are slightly higher than the early ones. The sixth chapter is from the two aspects of the standard use of Yan Zhenqing and the characters view of Yan Shi family to explain that Yan Zhenqing's view of the characters is consistent with the characters view advocated by his family, thus revealing that Yan Zhenqing's view of the characters has standardized, correct and rigorous character. And the formation of Yan Zhenqing view of the characters influenced by the times, the family and his own experience.
