In the early Qing Dynasty, small regular script calligraphers, affected by the reform of calligraphy style in the late Ming and “Zhao, Dong”, focused on the small regular script in Wei Dynasty and Jin Dynasty, which were respected as "gods". And these “gods” were formed on the basis of testimonies. And the majority of the calligraphers in the early Qing Dynasty used the combination of small regular script and running script.From Yongzheng to Daoguang, under the influence of epigraphy, calligraphers paid special attention to the quality of model calligraphy as well as its genuine. As a result, small regular script was questioned and criticized by calligraphers. Meanwhile, affected by seal script in Tang Dynasty and official script, the strength of small regular script set itself apart from the previous calligraphers.Tang Beikai after Xianfeng and calligraphers of the multi to powerful, masculine beauty and minuscule is also subject to this effect, the pursuit of simple, thickness, masculine beauty, a change in the mid Qing Dynasty since into minuscule, instead of to Beibei Kaifa into minuscule. Under the strong influence of the concept of the monument, the popular library book has changed the style of the book.In conclusion, the development of small regular script reflected clearly in the stone inscriptions. Small regular script was characterized by running script and cursive script in the early Qing Dynasty; by seal script of Tang in the mid-Qing Dynasty; and by tablet calligraphy in the late Qing Dynasty.
