The Construction And Application Of Terminology Database Under Cloud Collaboration

With the rapid development of language service industry in the era of information,computer-aided translation has been widely used in translation practice,and cloud collaboration has already been a trend.In order to improve both the quality and efficiency of translation work,the accuracy and consistency of terms are big challenges faced by translators in the process of translation.Term banks,which can solve the major concern for translators,play a crucial role in translation cooperation.However,little academic research has been done by Chinese scholars in the area that mentioned above.Therefore,this thesis aims to discuss the construction and application of term banks in cloud collaboration based on the translation of Entrepreneurial Litigation by John C.Coffee,Jr..The book contains plenty of financial and legal terms,some of which are new to China in these fields.The author attempts to dig into the translation of these terms in hope that new terms could be translated accurately and introduced to the related fields.Besides,the construction and application of term banks in this translation project is explored in hope to provide a few suggestions for future translation practice and studies of term banks in other translation projects.
