The Ming Dynasty's WenXuan extensively continued to supplement the works flourished,and later generations lack of research on it.As a supplement to WenXuan,XuWenXuan by Hu Zhenheng has fourteen volumes of selected articles and a list of authors.It was written in the twenty-sixth year of Ming Wanli.Except that it has been mentioned as an example today,there is no special collation and research.There has been no academic involvement for many years.In this paper,the author makes a comprehensive analysis of XuWenXuan,research editors,editions,styles and poems in this book,and compares them with Tang Shaozu's XuWenXuan in the same period.Then,the author summarizes Hu Ben's supplementary features to WenXuan and its influence and shortcomings.It is divided into the following five chapters:In Chapter one,the author introduce an overview of Hu Zhenheng's family life.Hu's life has no biographical tradition.Through some local chronicles and his works of Hu Xiake,Hu's life trajectory can be deduced.Hu's family background is fragrant,his ancestors are fond of reading poems and books,and his family has a rich collection of books,which has had a profound impact on his life officialdom and Book writing;Hu's life has gone through the road of reading imperial examinations for 20 years,frustrating official career for more than 30 years,and a large number of books written and close friends throughout his life,becoming a famous writer and book collector in the late Ming Dynasty;Hu's writings are numerous,and there are still nine books such as TangYinGuiQian HaiYanXianTuJing,MiCeHuiHan and XuWenXuan have been handed down.In Chapter two,the edition and style of XuWenXuan.This paper makes a textual research on the edition of Hu Zhenheng's XuWenXuan,combs the two existing engraved editions and photocopies of later generations,and makes a research on the basis of the widely circulated twenty-six year edition of Wanli.The compilation style of XuWenXuan is sorted out concretely,which is divided into three categories:Fu,poem and essay.There are two volumes of Fu.There are three volumes of poems,Ge and Qu in this category.There are twelve categories in the second category,and nine volumes of essay in the imperial edicts and imperial edicts,totaling twenty-three categories.In Chapter three,the research on the selection of poems in XuWenXuan.This paper analyses the selection of poems in XuWenXuan and textually studies the sources of the selected poems.All the poems are from Feng Weine's GuShiJi,while other poems are mostly collected from books of Tang and Song Dynasties and other poetry anthologies.Starting from the collection of poems,it summarizes the characteristics of the selection of poems:broadly collecting Yuefu folk songs,enjoying both elegant and vulgar contents of the poems,and the authors are mostly emperor scholars And the embodiment of the author's poetry concept.In Chapter four,a comparison between Hu Zhenheng's XuWenXuan and Tang Shaozu's XuWenXuan.Comparing Hu Ben with Tang Ben in the same period in three aspects.This paper compares their selection criteria at first,and finds that there are similarities and differences in the scope and method of selection.By comparing their stylistic classification,it can be seen that there is a difference between their stylistic names and contents.Then,it makes a simple comparison of their selection ideas and the situation of their subsequent generations,and finds that they are repeated by the Ming Dynasty.The influence of the ancient thought is far-reaching.It can be seen that Huben is not widely spread and Tangben has been listed as one of the prohibited books of Qing Dynasty.In Chapter five,summarizes the characteristics of Hu Zhenheng's continuation of XuWenXuan to WenXuan and its value and shortcomings.Hu Ben inherits and develops the original Anthology of WenXuan in terms of stylistic classification and compilation thoughts.Hu Ben has outstanding literary influence and excellent collation results in terms of the arrangement of the text itself.And then summarizes the deficiencies reflected by Hu Ben in order to look dialectically at Hu Ben's position in the "XuanXue" of the Ming Dynasty.
