Under the social and historical background of globalization, people's lives and behaviors tend to transcend the boundaries of nation-states.The research on immigrants, acculturation has become the most active topic in cross-cultural psychological research. However, what kind of conflicts will immigrants' cultural identity experience in the face of cultural changes? The rapid transformation of society and the booming development of tourism in China have also brought reverse tourism migration which is quite different from the mainstream migration mode. There have been studies on the process of cultural identity construction of tourism labor migrants in China, but the acculturation process and identity construction of lifestyle tourism migrants have not attracted much attention. This study takes the lifestyle tourism migrants in the Old Town of Lijiang as a case,in order to explore the type of cultural adaptation, the structural dimension of identity conflict,as well as the relationship between cultural adaptation and identity conflict of this group. Then,it interprets the stage characteristics of the identity coiiflict of this group from the perspective of acculturation theory. The research conclusions of this paper include four parts:(1)The dimensional structure of identity conflict of lifestyle tourism migrants are determined.Combing with the characteristics of identity change and situation of identity conflict of lifestyle tourism migrants in Old Town of Lijiang, this study divides the identity conflict of this group into:adaptive identity conflict, expectant identity conflict, supportive identity conflict and belonging identity conflict, which develops the Measuring Scale of Identity Conflict of Lifestyle Tourism Migrants. After reliability and validity test, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis,a stable scale with 15 items and 4 dimensions was formed.(2)The acculturation attitudes of lifestyle tourism migrants are divided.According to Berry's two-dimensional model of cultural adaptation, this study divides the acculturation attitudes of tourist migrants into four categories through cluster analysis, including integration, assimilation, separation and marginalization,"Integration" shows a high degree of identification with local culture and hometown culture, accounting for 20.4%of the respondents." Assimilation" is manifested as a high degree of identification with local culture and a low degree of identification with hometown culture, accounting for 18.4%of the respondents."Separation" is characterized by a high degree of identification with hometown culture and a low degree of identification with local culture, accounting for 39.6%of the respondents."Marginalization" is reflected in the low degree of identification of local culture and hometown culture.accounting for 21.6%of the respondents.(3)The impact of cultural adaptation of lifestyle tourism migrants on identity conflict is analyzed. This study constructs an impact model of acculturation of lifestyle tourism immigrants on identity conflict, which effectively reflects the impact of cultural adaptation on each dimension of identity conflict. The results of structural equation analysis showed that adaptive conflict was significantly positively affected by hometown cultural identity.Expectant identity conflict is significantly negatively affected by local behavior participation.Supportive identity conflict is significantly positively affected by hometown cultural identity.Belonging identity conflict is significantly positively affected by hometown cultural identity.(4)The stage characteristics of the identity conflict of lifestyle tourism migrants are expounded.Based on the Adler's theory of cultural adaptation process, this study divides the identity conflict of lifestyle tourism migrants into four stages. The lifestyle migrants are not easy to "adapt" when they first arrived. Then love and hate are intertwined with each other after the "expectation" fails. They feel weak after the break of social network. Finally, they get lost and wandering, after the loss of "sense of belonging",who even want to escape. Each stage of identity conflict presents different characteristics. The innovation points are as follows:The relationship between cultural adaptation and identity conflict of lifestyle tourism migrants is interpreted synchronically and diachronically by means of a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
