Research On Professional Standardization Of Stage Supervision

Stage manager is an indispensable role in rehearsals and performances,working as the "bridge" and "commander" on the stage.The work runs through the whole rehearsal.In recent years,with the increasing prosperity of China's performing arts market,the scale of performance production has gradually expanded,the technical elements have continued to increase,rehearsal work has become more complicated,the division of responsibilities between departments has become increasingly clear,the importance of stage manager has become increasingly apparent,The standardization and professionalization of Stage manager and talent training has become an unavoidable problem in the industry.This thesis combines actual performances with the National Centre for the Performing Arts of China's opera "Bard",dance drama "Sky Road",the non-traditional dance drama "Jie" and dance drama "Liang Zhu" of the Beijing Dance Academy as examples,Starting from the appearance of the organization and combining the characteristics of the repertoire,analyze and compare the duties of stage manager from multiple angles,summarizing and analyzing the problems arise,thinking and discussing the standardization of stage manager profession on various influencing factors,proposing related countermeasures.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this thesis includes four chapters.The introduction explains the origin of the thesis,the current status of research at home and abroad,research significance and research methods.It is believed that there are gaps or even gaps in the field of stage manager,whether it is theoretical research or practical summary.This thesis studies the status and standardization of stage manager profession,which has certain theoretical value and practical significance.The first chapter mainly introduces the duties and responsibilities of the stage supervisor,and the relationship with the crew members,and elaborates and clarifies it conceptually.The content and scope of the stage manager work will be based on the institutional system,director's wishes,theater conditions,number and quality of personnel.The different and changed perspectives of other factors lay the foundation for the case analysis later.The second chapter elaborates on the work of stage manager in different performance environments.Including the National Centre for the Performing Arts of China's opera "Bard",dance drama "Tian lu",Beijing Dance Academy's non-traditional dance drama "Jie" and dancedrama "Liang Zhu",The work is analyzed in detail,and finally compared and summarized.The third chapter mainly analyzes the status of stage manager occupation standardization,and elaborates the current situation of the industry from the aspects of professional education,occupation positioning,salary,theater conditions,and worker quality,and puts forward shortcomings.The fourth chapter aims at the status and existing problems analyzed in the third chapter,such as accelerating talent training,clarifying professional positioning,standardizing theater construction,and training stage workers,proposing specific solutions point-to-point to promote the standardization of the stage manager profession.The concluding part summarizes the main content of the previous chapters,and points out that although there are still many shortcomings in China's stage manager profession,it will take time to truly achieve standardization,but both universities and industries have been working hard on it,I believe that in the near future,the standardization of the stage manager profession in China will be achieved.
