The production and consumption of world energy has impacted global climate change and created a series of energy security issues.The source text introduces the latest research on the theoretical and practical aspects of establishing renewable energy systems on islands.Hopefully,this translation report will provide helpful references to the people who are currently studying the development of renewable energy,including scholars and environmental professionals,and have application value.The source text belongs to science and technology text,and pays attention to the accuracy of information transmission.It also uses acronyms,passive voice and impersonal subject sentences commonly used in English language.Therefore,it is necessary to consider accuracy and the difference between English and Chinese when translating.This report describes the translation tasks,pre-translation preparations,and implementation at first,and then analyzes addition,contextual analysis,zero translation of acronyms,passive conversions and Chinese translation of impersonal subject sentences through case studies.Finally,the process of this translation practice is summarized.
