Studying the jurisprudence of officials in the Tang Dynasty can provide some reference for the construction of contemporary legal system.According to the theory and related concepts of ancient Chinese verdict research, combined with the academic research on the "Judgment of Longjin and Fengsui",it can be clear that the precedents in the "Judgment of Longjin and Fengsui" are authentic and can be used for reference.Analysis of the precedents in the "Judgment of Longjin and Fengsui" combined with the provisions of Tang Law can be summarized as follows: the Tang Dynasty officials required officials to have both integrity and virtue, diligence and love for the people, and compliance with feudal principles and routine etiquette, violated the crime of embezzlement, unauthorized, dereliction of duty, improper written advice and recommendation should be punished. Moreover,in the Tang Dynasty, the court which is called Yushitai took the trial, interpretation and supervision functions of the imperial platform as an important means of governing officials. The jurisprudence of the "Judgment of Longjin and Fengsui" also reflects some limitations of the Tang Dynasty officials: the judges deliberately biased the application of the law,the limitations of the position of feudal officials and the separation of the attributes of law enforcement and law protectors.
