The words of gratitude are often used to express gratitude and recognition to others,and are indispensable in daily life.Because of the cultural differences,people in Chinese culture and English culture have different choice tendency and usage habits of thanks language.Therefore,from the perspective of the effectiveness of Chinese thank-you language teaching,we analyze the characteristics of Chinese and English thank-you language in the process of expression and use,through a comparative study of the two languages in the form of expression,function and use of the scene and other similarities and differences,hoping to improve the accuracy of foreign students' expression,teaching activities and other projects.Based on previous research,the first and second chapters of the thesis sort out the characteristics of Chinese and English thanks in terms of expression and use,and compare the actual corpus from the perspective of expression,social relationship of the target,and communication occasions.Study the similarities and differences of Chinese and English thanks.Through analysis,it is concluded that there are both similarities and differences in the expression and usage of Chinese and English thanks.We analyze the causes of differences from a socio-cultural perspective,and in the Chapter 2 stand in the perspective of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and try to analyze the pressure or impact these differences may have on teaching materials,teaching content,teachers and students.The article focuses on how to solve these problems.Therefore,the third and fourth chapters of the thesis mainly use statistical analysis,questionnaire survey and other research methods to investigate the syllabus,teaching arrangements of thank-you language in teaching materials,the use of thank-you language for foreign students,and in the fifth chapter based on the investigation around the previous questions put forward suggestions to solve.We found that the problems of English-speaking foreign students' choice of Chinese thank-you words have a large corresponding relationship with the differences between the two languages,the processing of teaching materials,learners' mastery,teaching content and methods.In the last chapter,we put forward some suggestions on how to use thank-you language properly,improve classroom efficiency,hoped to provide some ideas for the students whose mother tongue is English.
