In recent years,the Internet has deconstructed and reshaped the media industry where TV plays are located in a sweeping manner,making watching TV plays on various Internet video platforms become the first choice for many people at present.Among them,in addition to choosing to watch Chinese TV series on domestic platforms,a considerable number of Chinese Internet users choose to watch overseas platforms.In fact,this is the improvement of the production capacity of China's film and television culture industry,and also the performance of the majority of people's confidence in the traditional culture.In a sense,this kind of behavior of overseas drama Chase has directly or indirectly affected the cross-cultural communication effect and the national overseas communication capacity of China.This paper studies the motivation,expression strategy and behavior of Chinese Internet users' recommendation of Chinese TV series on YouTube platform and its influence on cross-cultural communication of Chinese film and television.This paper uses two research methods of in-depth interview and text analysis to collect a wealth of first-hand information.It analyzes the motivation,strategy and impact of the three sub research issues,and on the basis of the research findings,it makes a reflection on the future development path of cross-cultural communication of Chinese film and television.The research finds that the motivation of recommendation behavior of Chinese Internet users in the context of overseas drama chase can be carried out from three aspects:emotional identity,fan marketing,cultural communication,etc.;and from the perspective of recommendation strategy,the research adopts the method of text analysis from the language habits and expressions.From the perspective of communication impact,the comment area of YouTube platform's "fragrant honey sinks like frost"is often full of fans' infatuation with two plays regardless of nationality.Some idioms of Chinese comments also meet with foreign comments.To sum up,from the results of the study,it can be seen that the interactive"tap water" behavior of Chinese Internet users,such as chasing dramas through overseas platforms such as youtube and making recommendations in the comment area,has promoted the development of China's external communication and the expansion of China's external publicity pattern.
