Research On The Development And Temporal Characteristics Of Charitable Organizations In Guanzhong Area Of ??the Republic Of China

This paper mainly studies the development and main types of philanthropic organizations in Guanzhong area during the period of the republic of China,and on this basis,investigates its development process and spatial characteristics.This paper is divided into five parts.Introduction.In this part,it puts forward the academic problems and research methods discussed in the paper.From the perspective of historical social geography,it mainly explores the development and spatial characteristics of philanthropic organizations in Guanzhong area during the period of the republic of China through the archival historical materials and newspapers.Chapter One,it mainly introduces the development of philanthropic organizations in Guanzhong area during the republic of China from the aspects of natural environment and socio-economic environment.Natural disasters occurred frequently in Guanzhong in modern times,and the number of refugees increased,political instability,slow economic development,such a social situation needs to develop philanthropic organizations,the development of philanthropic organizations also provides a certain guarantee for the relative stability of the society.Chapter two,through the archives and newspaper materials,the philanthropic organizations in this period are classified into three main types:official,private and religious.This chapter describes the development of philanthropic organizations in Guanzhong of the republic of China mainly from the aspects of membership,source of funds and main business.Government-run philanthropic organizations in Guanzhong of the republic of China are mainly relief homes set up by the government,government-run women and children's homes are also important.Represented by the Red Cross and the Ged Swastika,private philanthropic organizations promoted the development of local health care and education at the same time.There are also orphanages and nurseries run by private and religious personages,which adhere to the principle of "combining education with practice" and "teaching instead of raising children",and grant children natural science knowledge and production and living skills.In a word,the development of philanthropic organizations in the Guanzhong area of the Republic of China are characterized by diversified development and plays an important role in every aspect of society.Chapter three,the development of philanthropic organizations went through three stages at that time.From 1911 to 1927 for the initial stage of development;From 1928 to 1936,the Red Cross expanded successively with the development of the Red Swastika.The period from 1937 to 1949 was a period of prosperity and development.With the attention and support of the government,the philanthropic organizations in Guanzhong area tended to flourish.After 1945,with the end of the Anti-Japanese War,the development trend of philanthropic organizations declined slightly.From the perspective of space,philanthropic organizations in Guanzhong area of the republic of China showed the imbalance of regional development due to the influence of natural environment,traffic conditions and regional economic development.This imbalance is embodied in the fact that the philanthropic organizations in the central and western regions of Guanzhong area were more developed than those in the eastern and northern regions,forming the two centers of Xi'an and Baoji.In a word,the counties and cities along the Weihe River and Longhai railway are the most developed.The conclusion summarizes the development of philanthropic organizations in Guanzhong area during the period of the republic of China,which reflects the gradual modernization of philanthropic organizations in Guanzhong area under the social background of disasters and wars.In a word,by studying the development situation and space-time characteristics of philanthropic organizations in Guanzhong area of the republic of China,it can be seen that philanthropic organizations play an important role in alleviating social conflicts,stabilizing social order and promoting social harmonious development.
