Research On Uighur Translation Of Chinese Human Idioms

Idioms are very important words in Chinese vocabulary,and they are the treasure house of language.Idioms can reflect the historical and cultural characteristics of a region and a ethnic group.There are many idioms with human body parts in Chinese idioms.Because different ethnic groups use different languages in different living environments,the meanings and usages of idioms with human body parts are quite different.There are corresponding nouns for organs and parts in various human languages.Idioms for human body parts are very common in both Chinese and Uyghur.In the process of understanding the world,people first use their most familiar body organs and parts to project to unknown targets,and use rich associations to form words.Various parts and organs of the human body can form rich and colorful idioms,which is gradually formed in the process of people observing nature and understanding themselves.Human idiom reflects people's wisdom,is the treasure of language,is the crystallization of national culture,and is the best manifestation of Chinese cultural history,social history and spiritual world.In this paper,the Chinese and Uygur Idiom Dictionary(2000 EDITION)is taken as the research scope,and a comprehensive statistics of human idioms is made.A total of 1015 human idioms including the head,the body and the internal organs are taken as the research materials.Taking the human idioms in the Uyghur versions of the two famous works of the outlaws of the marsh and the dream of the Red Mansions as examples,the modern translation of human idioms is taken as an example With the help of translation theory and contrastive linguistics,this paper analyzes the principles and methods of Uyghur translation of Chinese body idioms,and discusses the flexible use and translation of idioms.This paper consists of five chapters,including the introduction,the main body and the conclusion:The first part is the introduction,first of all,it describes the purpose and significance of the topic,then it introduces the research status,research content and research methods of related papers in detail.Finally,the author summarizes the previous research results and defines the scope of human idioms in this paper based on the previous experience.Human idioms are divided into three categories:head,body and internal organs.Finally,the collected human idioms are counted.The second part is the main body,which is divided into three chapters.According to the grammatical relationship of Chinese body idioms,this paper analyzes the structural types of body idioms and summarizes the main figures of speech.From the perspective of cognitive linguistics and translatology,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the principles and methods of Uyghur translation of Chinese body idioms.Taking the Uyghur translation of Shuihu Zhuan and Hongloumeng as examples,it points out that the principles of Uyghur translation of Chinese body idioms are "faithful to the original text and style",and analyzes the literal translation,free translation,borrowing,imitation translation and contraction translation adopted in Uyghur translation of Chinese body idioms Several commonly used translation methods.After that,from the flexible use of idioms,this paper analyzes the specific corresponding flexible use of idioms and their translation.The third part is the conclusion,which summarizes the research work of this paper.In the process of translation,we should follow the principle of"faithful content and style",correctly understand the meaning of human idioms,fully consider the cultural connotation,and adopt flexible translation methods to translate human idioms.
