The Two Composers, Jeffrey Stollett And Wang Chi, Study Creative Thinking Based On Cultural Background Under The KYMA Platform

What is driving the development of music?In the development process of music from ancient to modem times,from Gregorian chant to Bach,from Beethoven to stravinsky,the creation techniques and rules of music have been continuously inherited and replaced.Until now,the current development of music can be said to be a hundred schools of thought,composers no longer from vertical harmony or horizontal melody to explore the breakthrough,more began to explore the auditory level and performance skills of innovation--the pursuit of new timbre and new forms.Of course,with the emergence of electronic music and the continuous innovation of science and technology,the creation technology means of electronic music have increased thousands of possibilities for the pursuit of new timbre and new forms,making music break through the past again.Based on the works of the two composers,this paper analyzes the motivation and connotation of their creations,as well as the differences and similarities of their creative thinking under different cultural backgrounds from the perspective of cultural background.This paper starts with a brief introduction of interactive electronic music in electronic music,introduces the characteristics of interactive music,as well as the software and hardware of interactive electronic music creation commonly used by two composers.Starting from the creation analysis of the works themselves,the works selected from the four parts are analyzed in detail.Each piece of work is described by three main points:the summary of creation background,the analysis of creation techniques and the analysis of creation structure.The background is mainly based on brief introduction,the creation techniques are mainly to analyze the technical aspects of the works,and the structural analysis is mainly to analyze the changes of the musical structure.After a detailed analysis of the four works,a summary is made:the creation direction is analyzed from the creation form and creation type,the artistic expression is compared with the performance form of two composers,and the creative thinking is analyzed from the two dimensions of creation design and sound setting.Finally,the author summarizes the characteristics of the creative thinking of the two composers based on the cultural background,as well as the enlightenment to the development of electronic music,so as to provide more layers of thinking for more music creators.
