Research On The Application And Significance Of Pictorial Expression In Electronic Music Analysis

Music art is no longer limited to the traditional instrumental sound production mode.Electronic music can be recreated with any sound: from real,concrete sound to creative,abstract sound.For the audience,the connection between sound materials and traditional instrumental types has been interrupted,because the form and texture of sound often make the audience unable to perceive its source.The familiar expression of musical instruments and vocals has gradually disappeared,because the stability of notes and tones has disappeared.This brings many problems to composers,that is,how to record music completely.This paper puts forward the graphic analysis model of electronic music from the perspective of the intersection of music information retrieval and semiotics,and summarizes three different graphic expressions.Taking my original electronic music works and Edgar varetz's representative work?Poeme Electronique?as the research object,this paper studies the sound form,music organization structure and sound space of Electronic music works.The significance and application of graphic analysis method in electronic music are expounded.
