Research On The Characteristics Of Jinnong Plum Blossom Theme Painting

In the middle of Qing Dynasty,due to the dominant artistic tendency and aesthetic orientation of the rulers,the retro style of painting prevailed.Until the appearance of "eight monsters in Yangzhou",this situation was changed.These painters,who appeared as "innovators",attached great importance to individual expression in their artistic view.On the one hand,their works inherited the lofty and arrogant characteristics of literati paintings,on the other hand,they used symbolic and metaphorical techniques to express profound social content and gave their works unique ideas.Among them,Jinnong,known as the head of "Yangzhou Eight monsters",inherits Shi Tao's innovative spirit,attaches great importance to life experience,and emphasizes the expression of spirit.His paintings are not rigid and unique.In particular,the plum blossom works,taking the ancient method and forming a school of their own,are unique in the painting world in the middle of the Qing Dynasty,most representative of its artistic characteristics,leaving a very deep impression on people.From the perspective of Jinnong plum blossom works,this paper first introduces the rich and auspicious implication and symbolic character of "plum" in traditional culture,and analyzes the development of plum blossom painting from the general environment of the Qing Dynasty,so as to lay the foundation for a better study of the distinctive characteristics of Jinnong plum blossom.The second chapter analyzes the causes of the painting style of Jinnong plum blossom based on the background and personal experience of Jinnong.The third chapter is the focus of this paper,focusing on the formal characteristics of Jinnong's plum works.Jinnong often displays the rare "plum blossom",the plum blossom matched with the ancient wall courtyard,and the "full dense" and "sparse simple" plum blossom.The author takes these four very personal style composition forms as an example to analyze the composition characteristics of his plum blossom works.It also focuses on the strong personality of each painting,the skill of abandoning the flashy brush and ink,and the pursuit of simplicity and simplicity,so as to further demonstrate the personal characteristics of jinnongmei's works.The fourth chapter expounds the influence of Jinnong plum blossom painting,focusing on the innovative significance of Jinnong plum blossom works and the inheritance of Jinnong by contemporary painters and modern painters.His inheritance and innovation are of strong contemporaneity and sociality.Analyzing Jinnong's artistic achievements and mining his artistic characteristics are of great practical significance to us today,and have reference significance to contemporary Chinese painting creation.
