"Encounters With Peking Opera" Series Of Book Design

The fine traditional Chinese culture is the lifeblood of the Chinese nation.It is of great significance to building socialism with Chinese characteristics and will help strengthen our cultural confidence.Since the 18 th National Congress of the COMMUNIST Party of China(CPC),General Secretary Xi Jinping has vigorously promoted China's fine traditional culture,endowed it with the connotation of The Times,and elevated it to a new stage by applying its governance and responding to major challenges at home and abroad.As the symbol of Chinese traditional culture,Peking Opera has only a history of more than two hundred years.However,through the continuous exploration and innovation of artists in previous dynasties,it has accumulated the essence of ancient opera and the achievements of many kinds of opera,and developed to this day with its unique charm.In recent years,people have been responding to the call of the state and increasing their awareness of the revival of traditional culture.Peking Opera,known as the quintessence of Chinese culture,is undoubtedly one of the first tasks for the revival of traditional culture.Taking "Peking Opera" as the theme,this paper designs a series of books on the subject of Peking Opera by collecting a large amount of information related to Peking Opera and centering on the basic contents such as characters' characteristics,artistic characteristics and forms of expression of Peking Opera.This paper firstly summarizes the development and current situation of the design of Peking Opera books,and conducts case analysis of the design of Peking Opera books.Through specific analysis of excellent cases,this paper seeks for the design direction of such books.Then the origin of the topic is briefly explained and the content of the book is divided in detail.Finally,combined with previous theory research and design analysis,establish the designing idea of the encounter of Beijing Opera series books,and mining the characteristics of the Peking Opera art and with the combination of traditional and modern design gimmick to overall design of books,the Chinese excellent traditional culture of Chinese opera show unique appearance in books,in order to through the form of books,make people deeply appreciate the charm of Beijing Opera art,arouse people to the attention of the traditional culture,and then to get better carry forward the Chinese traditional culture and heritage.
