Research On The Editorial Design Of The Illustrated Book

Illustration is a kind of drawing creation and graphic design which is attached to the text,and it is reproducible,illustrative and expressive.Most of the images in illustrated books are representational illustrations and illustrative illustrations.The excellent illustrated books emerging from ancient times fully illustrate such a problem: that is,as an important visual language,the image fully displays and makes up for the part of the functions that the text language cannot have.From the perspective of editing and design,this paper,on the one hand,combined with the generation and phenomenon of illustrated books,discusses the editing methods and publishing strategies to be followed in the design process of illustrated books as images are an important source of visual information.On the other hand,the author explores the interpretation and visual interest of graphic and text in editing design for the composition elements of the book.Finally,by selecting various representative illustrated books,the author analyzes the schema composition and editing orientation of his works,and provides a basis and reference for further research.
