The linear progression of multi-voices is widely used in the creation of works by contemporary composers in China,but there is only a little research on its application techniques and linear thinking in the theoretical realm.Yao Henglu's creation in the 21 st century applies linear thinking to the creation of multi-voices music.In this study,‘OH,WE CALLED IT ‘YELLOW LAND'and‘TWELVE ANIMALS ZODIAC ' were selected as the research projects.Based on the analysis of the work and the theory of linear progression,the linear progression of Yao Henglu's multi-voices music is studied.The article is divided into three parts,the first part is a brief introduction of Yao Henglu and his two works;the second part is a practical analysis of the application of linear progression in the two works,and the application of linear progression with “potential function”and “pantonality”.The last part is a summary of the rule and characteristics of the linearity which firstly summarizes.Finally,it summarizes the previous research and expounds the control and layout of linear thinking in the works. |
