In the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,the study of pragmatic errors has become a trend.This article first puts forward the research purpose and significance of politeness pragmatic errors in Chinese,collects and collates domestic and foreign literature on pragmatic errors and politeness studies,and then introduces interlanguage and error analysis and other theories.Through questionnaire survey,comparative analysis and bias analysis and other methods to investigate and analyze the polite language of foreign students in China.The subjects of the survey are mainly international students of Qingdao University,regardless of country or Chinese level.Based on the data analysis of the polite language questionnaire for foreign students in China,find out the places where the errors occurred and the proportion of various types of error words:Salutations,greetings,compliments,and farewells are the areas where errors are relatively rare.Apology,criticism,and rejection are more biased,and thanks and requests are better understood.And then summarize the reasons for the formation of politeness pragmatic errors,in order to further put forward strategies to reduce the bias from both teaching and students.Teachers should design cultural activities,conduct cross-cultural comparative teaching,and explain in-depth pragmatic knowledge;students should have a deep understanding of the cultural connotation behind Chinese,communicate more with Chinese people,and practice Chinese in scenarios;schools should provide students with resources to learn Chinese.The last is the teaching design of the Chinese polite language culture course for foreign students.Taking the salutation as an example,the polite language is cultured.The conclusion part summarizes the current situation of pragmatic errors research,the number of errors in all aspects of polite language and the significance of this research.
