Research On Qian Zeng's "Mu Zhai Poem Notes"

The hermeneutics of poetry and essay in the Qing Dynasty is very developed,but their research mainly focused on Previous poems notation and ignored Qing dynasty poems.So this article selects the model of the Qing Dynasty's note on Qing poetry— Muzhai Poem Notes as the research object,and discusses the origin,process,version circulation,annotation style,content,methods and features of Qian Zeng's Muzhai Poem Notes.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this article contains four parts:The first chapter is the Writing process and vision of Muzhai Poem Notes.This chapter mainly introduces Qian Zeng's life experience,the reason for writing,the writing process and the version circulation of Muzhai Poem Notes.Qian Zeng who has been learning from Qian Qianyi since Shunzhi five or six years,was the most proud student of Qian Qianyi in his later years.Judging from Poetry talent,the familiarity with the author,and the rich collection of books,Qian Zeng was the perfect candidate for annotating Qian Qianyi's Poems.Although Muzhai Poem Note was banned in the Qianlong Dynasty,it has been secretly collected,circulated and read in the private domain.The second chapter is about the annotation style,content and method of Muzhai Poem Notes.Although Qian Zeng did not state the style of the poem notes,from the consistent presentation of the poem notes,Qian Zeng has strict specifications and requirements in the style of the notes.The content of the poem notes is famous for their detailed preparation,which mainly involves several aspects such as clarifying the pronunciation,correcting mistakes,annotating the history of the allusions,and interpreting the metaphors.In terms of annotation methods,Qian Zeng used the method of“mutual proof of poetry and history” to link Qian Qianyi's poems with Ming history,using historical evidence to explain poems,and treating Qian Qianyi's poetry as a valuable historical text to restore the historical truth.The third chapter is about the characteristics of Muzhai Poem Notes.Qian Zeng quoted Qian Qianyi's spoken words in the annotations.The annotations overflowed with Qian Qianyi's self-voice,breaking through the time and space distance between the ancient and modern poems and annotations,making the annotations more relevant to the writer.Qian Qianyi wrote poems by talent and learning,QianZeng produced a corresponding interpretation mode:note by talent and learning.During theMing and Qing Dynasties,many historical materials were lost.Qian Zeng used poems notes to keep the history.The historical materials contained in the notes greatly annotated Mu Zhai's poems,which formed the feature of Qian Zeng's notes to conserve the history.Due to the current situation,Qian Zeng was deeply touched by Qian Qianyi's poems,and he could not tell the details,so he could only use the method of concentrating on the notes to add poetry.The fourth chapter is about the construction of the interpretive subject in Muzhai Poem Notes.After family dispute,Qian Zeng's notes on Qian Qianyi's poems can be regarded as Qian Zeng's efforts to rebuild his personality.Qian Zeng's use of poems note to rebuild his self-image is mainly reflected in two aspects: Packed himself as a adherent;the second is to live up to Qian Qianyi's entrustment and continue to complete the writing of Qian Qianyi's image.
