Reexploration Of "Shi Shi" Ideas Of Qian Qianyi

Qian Qianyi was a famous litterateur in Ming and Qing Dynasties.Since the last century,his poetics has become a hot topic in the academic circle."Shi shi" is an important part of his poetic theory and especially represents the poet's mind.Guided by the academic idea of the history of academic thought,this paper analyzes the formation and development of Qian Qianyi's thought of "shi shi".The main contents of this paper are as follows:The first chapter discusses the origin and development process of the theory of "poetry history",the essence of which is to explore the relationship between "poetry" and "history".As a term of literary criticism,"Shi shi"originates from people's understanding and evaluation of Du Fu's poems written before and after the "an-shi rebellion",but as a concept,"shi shi"has always been contained in the creation of ancient poetry and the practice of literary criticism.The "shi shi"of the Song Dynasty focuses on the interpretation of Du's poems and attaches importance to the combination of record and narrative."Shi shi" in the theory of restoring ancient poetry in the Ming Dynasty also constantly derived new connotations.Until the change of Ming and Qing Dynasties,“shi shi” revived on a large scale,and “taking poetry as history"and "continuing poetry with history" and so on have become the poet's conscious pursuit.The second chapter probes into the large-scale revival of the concept of "Shi shi" during the transition from the Ming Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty.Taking Qian Muzhai,Wu Meicun and Qian Chengzhi as examples,they respectively illustrate their propositions of "mutual proof of poetry and history","the history of external communication of heart" and "the history of expressing heart solely".Behind the revival is the revival of Confucian spirit and sense of responsibility in the literati community.The third chapter illustrates the reason and development process of the view of "Shi shi" of Qian Qianyi.This paper explores the background of theformation of the view of "Shi shi" in Qian Qianyi from the perspective of the classic literary thoughts in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties.The academic trend of "returning to the scripture and learning from the old way of teaching of Confucius" is a natural response of the literati group facing the history of dynastic change of the "disintegration".As the core of Qian Qianyi poetics,the theory of "Shi shi" is inseparable from the poetic thought of respecting sutra and restoring ancient ways and advocating the general mood of society.Based on the analysis of the specific works of poetry collection of the series of Dynasties,collection of throwing pen and money notes to poems of Du,this paper focuses on the discussion of the method of "inter-verification between poetry and history" of "preserving history with poetry" and "proving poetry through history",and further digs out the deepening process of thought of “shi shi” of Qian Qianyi of “quoting classics into history” and “deriving poetry from history”.The fourth chapter clarifies the cultural significance of Qian Qianyi's view of "shi shi".During the transition of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the literati class inherited the aspiration of reviving traditional literature,re-established the realistic function of poetry in the ideological trend of the classics and literature,and focused on the practical character of poetry representing "the signs of the rise and fall of the world".Mu zhai emphasizes the historical experience of poets in the connotations of poetry and the general mood of society,and his spirit is the traditional Confucian view of poetic education of "gentleness and sincerity".
