Research On Kierkegaard's Art Classification Thoughts

Kierkegaard(1813-1855)is a famous Danish philosopher and theologian.His whole thought is deeply influenced by his religious Theological Background and has a strong Christian color.For this reason,he attached great importance to the eternal spirit of Christianity,and put forward the relative sense,as an important concept to explain his own aesthetics and artistic thought,and also the main connotation of his artistic classification thought.He divided art into sensory art and spiritual art according to the media of artistic expression and the relationship between thought and spirit conveyed by it.The idea conveyed by sensory art is more abstract and ambiguous,far away from the eternal spirit,and only expressing passion and desire.It is the embodiment of people's indecision in the face of nothingness and dominated by instinctive desire and impulse.The best form is music.The idea conveyed by spiritual art is more specific and clear,which contains human rationality and ethical factors,but it is also far away from his so-called "spirit",but only a series of practical reflection and ethical discussion that people mistakenly regard rationality as spirit.Both of them are only based on the representation of reality,sensory art does not have truth because of its uncertainty,and spiritual art lacks the faith of facing God because it has not been truly reflected,so it is only instantaneous,which can only make people indulge in the aesthetic realm without any attachment,and can not make people truly understand the existence and move towards the spirit.In order to move towards the spirit,we need the generation of the subject's introversion.He thinks that human being is a lonely individual and must face God for peace.In a series of life experiences,human beings need to go through aesthetic stage,ethical stage and religious stage.Among them,aesthetic shouldering the responsibility of going to religion,revealing and opening the truth of existence is the real starting point of existence,while beauty and art are the perceptual presentation of human existence.People in aesthetic realm need to experience a series of aesthetic experiences to realize the absurdity and nothingness of life,so as to mobilize their will to embrace eternity and realize real self existence.The opportunity to realize self lies in irony and despair.Irony resists reality by negating and dispelling everything,and despair gives people hope of salvation.
