Alberto Genastera,an Argentine composer and music educator,was one of the most influential composers in Latin America in the twentieth century.Born in Buenos Aires in 1916,died in Geneva in 1983.He has produced a large number of works and covers a wide range of fields,and Ginastera is known as "one of the three most important composers in Latin America in the twentieth century "."Danzas argentinas" is the first piano piece published by Ginastera in 1937,and is also the representative work of piano works during the period of his nationalistic creation.It consists of three fragments : " Danza del viejo boyero"," Danza de la moza donosa " and "Danza del gaucho matrero".This work is highly influenced by the composers of Bartok,Stravinsky and Ravel.It adopts folk melody,folk dance rhythm and so on to adapt and create,and directly shows the characteristics of Argentine national music.This paper discusses from three chapters: the first chapter briefly introduces the life of Genastera and the background of "Danzas argentinas";the second chapter is an analysis of the style of " Danzas argentinas ";the third chapter discusses the difficulty of "Danzas argentinas" in combination with the author's playing experience.
