As for the study of "story" in han Dynasty,Cheng Shude and Shen Jia have already started to sort it out in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic Of China.Reading Shi Ji,Han Shu and Hou Han Shu,it is found that the "story" of the two Han Dynasties has been continued throughout, which is of great benefit to the legal supplement, judicial resolution and administrative management inside and outside the court under the background of the fusion of Confucianism and law. Therefore, the origin, development and content of "stories" in the Han Dynasty are reviewed, and different kinds of "stories" are classified and discussed, and their functions, values and influences are explored. The earliest records of "stories" appeared in the Book of History,Kangao in the Pre-Qin Period, which showed the social value of "stories".Based on the needs of social governance, the cold Qin and Qin systems could not fully meet the needs of the Han Dynasty.Under the general trend of the integration of Confucianism and law,the "story" of the Han Dynasty developed together with legal forms such as the revision of laws and decisions, which became a quasi-normative way of social governance in the Han Dynasty. The "stories" of the two Han Dynasties can be divided into legislative, political, judicial, educational and other categories according to their nature and functions.By comparing the application of "stories" in The Han Dynasty with the original events,we can clearly find the wide scope of application of "stories" in the Han Dynasty, which is conducive to the detailed analysis of the function, influence and value of "stories" in the Han Dynasty. The function of "story" in The Han Dynasty is mainly reflected in four aspects: legislation, administration, judicature, and the dissemination of etiquette and law.It not only played an important role in the development of legal system, social governance and the communication and education of etiquette and law,but also laid a theoretical and practical foundation for the continued existence and development of "stories" in successive dynasties. The study of "stories" in the Han Dynasty is of academic value supplemented by legal forms, and it is even of significant value to the promotion and innovation of the culture of etiquette and law,as well as to the normative inheritance of the spirit of traditional law in contemporary China by means of judicial precedents.
