The Contemporary Significance And Image Practice Exploration Of The Documentary "Man By The Mine"

Fushun,a city thriving on coal,has evolved over the past century with the rise and fall of coal mines.With the implementation of a series of policies such as the overall revitalization of the old industrial bases in Northeast China,and the formulation of plans for urban transformation and development of resource-exhausted cities,Fushun has ushered in new development opportunities,and the lives of the people in Fushun have gradually changed.The documentary constructs the content by recording life fragments,selecting and shaping representative figures,reflecting social values,highlighting the significance of the times,and thus constructing the theme.The documentary Because of coal tells the story of several Fushun people who are closely related to coal,and uses audiovisual means to shape characters,highlighting macro themes with micro characters,and conveying the happiness and beauty of Fushun people's life in the new era.This article takes the documentary film Because of coal as the research object and analyzes the film's time significance and the positive role of image expression.Through the selection and shaping of character images and the recording of life fragments,the value of the era and its positive effect on the theme of the documentary are explored from the content perspective;the audio-visual language methods such as pictures,colors,music and sound are used to analyze how the audiovisual images deepen the value of the times.This article is divided into four parts for research.The first chapter analyzes the intention of the topic selection of the documentary Because of coal and explores the dialectical relationship between the value of the topic and the times and the positive effect on the theme construction.The second chapter analyzes the content narrative level of the documentary Because of coal and explores the selection reasons and shaping methods of representative figures Chen Yufang,Li Yanguo,and Tong Yuqing,and extracts the humanistic value and strength of the documentary.An analysis of the artistic form of Because of coal,in-depth exploration of the role of audio-visual language in shaping the value of the times and the role of the theme construction;finally summarize the difficulties and shortcomings in the creation of the documentary Because of coal and summarize the significance of the film image expression.
