With the development of artificial intelligence technology, voice interaction,as a more natural way of interaction,is also developing rapidly. In the voice interface of human-computer interaction, the machine needs a period of response time from processing user request to responding user, which is the user's waiting time. When users are waiting for the response of the system, such bad experiences as too long response time or users can't predict the waiting time will lead to negative emotions of users, which will affect their evaluation of the system and their tendency to use the system again. However, based on the objective machine characteristics and subjective user experience, the response time cannot be infinitely reduced. At the same time, too short response time will also bring discomfort to users. Therefore,it is worth further research to explore appropriate system response time and improve users' perception of waiting time. This paper focuses on the appropriate response time and the impact of feedback mode and different response types on user's time perception and satisfaction.Experiment using 4(response time: 1500 ms,3500ms,5000 ms,8000ms)x 3(feedback methods: human voice prompt "wait",and "ding",voice identification prompt no hint)within the subjects of design. The time interval estimation paradigm of time interval replication is used to study this problem. The results showed that the response time and the way of feedback had a significant effect on the perceived time. The response time of the voice interface considered more suitable by the subjects was between 1500ms-3500 ms,and the most intolerable response time was 8000 ms.On the basis of experiment 1,experiment 2 adopted an in-test design of 2(system response type: correct response and wrong response)×3(response time: 3500 ms,5000ms,8000ms).The results showed that the response time had a significant effect on the perceived correct or wrong response, and the system response type also had a significant effect on the perceived response time. The time interval estimate of the correct response is slightly lower than that of the wrong response. However, there was no significant change with the increase of response time. This study draws the following conclusions :(1)effective feedback can affect subjects' perception of time, reduce their estimation of time, and improve their satisfaction;(2)The way of feedback information and response time will affect the subjects' perceived waiting time and satisfaction.Voice feedback makes the estimation of waiting time tend to be underestimated and the satisfaction of the subjects is higher.(3)Right and wrong responses and response time will affect the estimation and satisfaction of the response time. The correct response makes the estimation of waiting time of subjects tend to be underestimated and the satisfaction of subjects is higher.
