The Traditional Elements Of Ancient Russ Literature In Leskov's Novels

In the history of Russian literature,the literature of the new era gradually regained its attention to the broken literature of Old Russian.Many scholars have neglected the traditional literature of the Old Russian in the study of Russian history or the study of writers' works.In the process of the evolution of the times,many scholars are committed to finding writers who could represent the spiritual characteristics of their own nation so as to reconstruct the history of Russian literature.In narrative mode and religious thought,Leskov have fully borrowed the essence of the Old Russian literature or wrote stories of the Old Russian which has played an indispensable role in the return of traditional Russian literature and the evolution of thought.Leskov drew a series of pictures with Russian folk characteristics for us.His high-level depiction of folk life makes people feel that life has endless complexity and inexhaustible creativity.Through the analysis of Leskov's "story telling" discourse presentation,narrative transformation in the span of time and space as well as the shaping of the images of folk warriors and craftsmen,we can further explore Leskov's insight into the living conditions of the bottom people and his thinking on the Russian national spirit.Contemporary studies on Russian literature also seeks to re-read the classic text and re-examine the ideological value orientation in the text,trying to accept the connotation of literary works in a multi-dimension,multifaceted,multi-perspective and more objective and fair way.This paper mainly analyzes the elements of the tradition of Old Russian literature in Leskov's literary concept.Taking the novel Cathedral Folk and the novella The Devil's Wanderer as the main text,I will mainly explore the narrative style,the shaping of folk images and the trend of religious ideas of Leskov's novels that absorb and inherit the Old Russian literature through the way of close reading.On this basis,this paper explores the traditional elements of ancient Ross literature in Leskov's literary creation,and explores what narrative strategies Leskov adopted and what unique images he created in order to realize the revival and return of the tradition of Old Russian literature and explores the "absurd real life" and "unique realism" which are embodied in them.At the same time,At the same time,expecting to highlight the uniqueness and literary characteristics of Leskov's personal works,how did Leskov realize the innovation and transcendence of the tradition of Old Russian literature? Inorder to explore the creative value of Leskov from a new perspective and the inheritance and extension of the tradition of Old Russian literature in Leskov's novels have important reference significance for the development of Russian literature.
