Tibetan La-rGyap dialect belongs to the U dialect of U-Tsang dialect,which retains a series of characteristics of U-Tsang dialect,but also has many differences with Lhasa dialect which is the representative point of U dialect.The dialect point studied in this paper is located in La-rGyap Township,Luozha County,Shannan City,Tibet Autonomous Region,adjacent to the kingdom of Bhutan.This paper will use the firsthand materials obtained by the author's fieldwork to make a systematic description and Research on the phonetics of Tibetan La-rGyap dialect.On this basis,it will further expand the tonal part,and discuss the tonal features of Tibetan dialects with tonality and its continuous reading and tone change in combination with the tonal parts of Se Township and Xiajiang township of Qusong County.Generally speaking,there are four main syllable structures in La-rGyap Dialect: CV,CVC,NCV and NCVC.In the aspect of initial,only the same part of the basic consonant is retained in La-rGyap dialect,and there are some special circumstances in the historical origin of initial: it is more distinctive that the initial of the nasal consonant retains the sound change of the basic consonant of the front nasal sound falling off;in the aspect of final,there is the phenomenon of the explosion of the final K and P of the stop;in the aspect of tone,there are certain differences between the single tone and the continuous tone sandhi in La-rGyap dialect and that in Lhasa dialect,However,the overall tone type is the same as that of Lhasa,while the tone type of qusong,another language point in the article,is quite different from that of Lhasa.This paper mainly combs the tone types of U-Tsang dialect.In addition,there are some unknown words in La-rGyap dialect.On the one hand,they are related to the local geographical environment,on the other hand,they are related to the local language contact.
