Research On The Pottery Holding Pot Of Tang And Song Dynasty

Ceramic art is a part of plastic arts.The paper is a study on the ceramic pots that from Tang dynasty to Song dynasty,the peak to development of it.Collecting the ceramic pot for holding and pouring liquids that from Tang dynasty to Song dynasty from literature,relics and paintings.From the perspective of art,the paper aims to explore the plastic art and the evolution of it.Lots of methods apply to the paper,such as researching the literature,analyzing the figures,contrasting,induction,plastic art of the implements.The paper contains six aspects.Firstly,collecting the names of the pot are used and researching the origin of name through social causes,cultural influences,etc.Secondly,through collecting pictures and size,classifying it according to the era and the styling.It is focused on analyzing the size and styling of each part.This aspect is summarized different characteristics of the pots from Tang dynasty and Song dynasty on the styling.Thirdly,it is focused on the pots in the paintings.It is analyzed the characteristics of the styling and the scene.The paintings show off people's pursuit in the pots.On the other hand,it reflects the function of the pot in the banquet.Fourthly,from the perspective of the function,the factors such as craft,lifestyle,the way of drinking,usage,scenario,the table and the utensils are used at the same time make an impact on the styling of the pot are considered.It is revealed the changes on styling are made by the function of the pot.Fifthly,it is explored the origin and development of the pot,including the influence of the foreign elements.The pot appears the variants with imagery.Sixthly,it is analyzed the changes of the ceramic pot which is from Tang dynasty to Song dynasty which are built on the predecessor,the culture of the liquor and the tea,the multi-culture.It is focused on the aesthetic character.Through sorting and analyzing of data,I find the pot for holding and pouring liquids is experienced an abundant development of the name.Then,the pot for holding and pouring liquids has experienced an obvious evolution on the styling from Tang dynasty to Song dynasty.They present different characteristic on the styling.Finally,in consideration the aesthetic character of the pot,it is affected by the life and the culture of the periods.
