In Song Dynasty, the challenge of Mu-fu is as well as oportunity. The challenge was, the great evloution in society & economy after Tang has undermined the base of Mu-fu, and, "the law of Zu-zong"which made by the (sovereigns)autorities to agaist the harm of regional independence has reduce its place to develop: The oportunity is, at the time of Song Dynasty, the struggle between Song & other minority nations is very hard, which made the emperors of Song dynasty had to partly depent on Mu-fu.In this environment, followed with Han&Tang, Mu-fu in Song dynasty has also dispayed its new charcteristics: its independent privilege was rduced, its structure and dimension was simplified, old Mu-zhi was canceled and new Mu-zhi was born. These great changes should included in "evolution in Tang&Song", we should also study them.Think of the development of the nations'contradiction, the development of Mu-fu in Song Dynasty was about excised three stages: convalecence, unstable development, stable development and so on. At the same time it developed its own charcteristics and styles.The major men in Mu-fu were aides and staff, because of them the Mu-fu can work well, after they enter the Mu-fu, their job were to give some advices to their master, to do some assignments, to supervise their master and so on. in Mu-fu, their relationships were well build, and created lively life, and they also have different attitudes, so throuth this window we can observe people in Song Dynasty, espcially the middl class and the lower.Besides, this article studied some simple Mu-fus, such as Yue-fei's Mu-fu, Wen Tian-xiang's Mu-fu.this article also studied the historic ructions and efction of Mu-fu in Song Dynasty.
