| Since the opening of the "two-child" policy,more attention should be paid to the theory of mind of the first-born child in a two-child family.The main objective of this study was to study on the parenting ideas of two children and explore the influence of parenting ideas of two children on the theory of mind of first-born infants,thus to the two-child family's parents raise the suggestion.There are three main part of the study:Study 1: To explore the structure of parenting ideas of two children,345 parents of two children were investigated with the self-made "parenting attitude questionnaire for parenting ideas of two children".The parenting ideas of two children into eight dimensions,which are in favor of reward,punishment,sense of educational efficacy,two kids better,differential expectation,subjectivity,educational reflection,democracy and freedom.The factor load of each item was between 0.403 and 0.842,the commonness was more than 0.355,the factor cumulative variation interpretation rate was 60.33%,the total scale was 0.81,the reliability and validity were good.Study 2:To explore the basic situation and influencing factors of parenting ideas of two children,survey of 252 parents of infants by the questionaire ?And it turns out:(1)Parenting ideas of two children is democratic and scientific as a whole,but the recognition of subjective of the first-born children is not enough and the difference is big;(2)Compared with the mother,the father is more likely to have high expectations of the first-born children,and does not attach importance to the first-born children's subjectivity;(3)Educational level and the sex of the first-born infant will influence on the parenting ideas of two children.Study 3: To explore the influence of parenting ideas of two children on the first-born infant's theory of mind by use the questionnaire and theory of mind test task to test 56 children with average age of 4-6 years old and their parents.The conclusions are as follows:(1)The age difference of 4-6 years old children's theory of mind is significant,and 4 years old is the key period for the development of children's theory of mind;(2)The mother's educational level and the family's income level are positively correlated with the first-born children's theory of mind;(3)The punishment in the father's parenting ideas of two children is negatively related to the first-born child's theory of mind.From the above results,it can be concluded that the parenting ideas of two children into eight dimensions,the parents' own sex,educational level and the sex of the first-born child will be the influencing factors of parenting ideas of two children and it will have some influence on the first-born children's theory of mind. |
