Social adaptation is the degree to which the individual adjusts the body and mental state to achieve the desired development goals.Social adaptation is the key link of children from families into the society.Whether children can adapt to the new environment well has a great influence on their life and study. If children didn't adapted the new environment well, they will develop a series of maladaptive responses.Social adaptability plays a vital role in a person's social life. The adaptability of the new environment has a profound influence on the development of young children.Parents are first teachers of children,so parenting ideas and behavior are important factors for the acquisition of social competence of young children.Previous research on parental rearing patterns primarily focused on parental rearing behavior, while little attention has been paid to emotion of parents.Parental “meta-emotion philosophy” refers to an organized set of feelings and thoughts of parents about their own and their children's emotions. It means the metacognitive of emotion, which discusses the effect of parenting from a new perspective. It's a new concept of parenting and a supplement to the current concepts in the parenting literature. In the study,a sample of 341 preschool children(2 to 6 years old)were recruited, preschool children's positive social adaptation condition were investigated through the questionnaire survey method, and analyze the data obtained by questionnaire, the results showed that:(1)There is a significant difference on age between Children's self-control ability and pro-social behavior.Children's self-control behavior significantly increased with the growth of the age.In general, the pro-social behavior increased with the age,but the difference in social behavior between 49-60 months and more than 61 months was not significant.Young children's self-control ability and pro-social behavior is significant differenced in gender that is to say girls usually higher than boys.(2)The philosophy of maternal emotion-coaching was significantly positively correlated with self-control,and the philosophy of maternal emotion dysfunction was significantly negatively correlated with self-control.It was not found that the philosophy of maternal emotion-noninvolvement and the maternalemotional dismissing were significantly related to children's self-control and pro-society.Mother' s high control parenting was significantly negative correlated with children's self-control and prosocial, social encourage parenting was significantly positive correlated with children's self-control,prosocial.(3)The philosophy of maternal emotion-coaching has significant positive prediction function to the children's self-control,maternal emotion-dismissing has significantly negative prediction effect on prosocial, and the philosophy of maternal emotion dysfunction has a hindrance to the self-control behavior of preschool children.(4)The mother's high control parenting style mediates the relationships among mother emotional coaching, emotional dysfunction, children's self-control and prosocial;high control parenting style also mediates the relationships between mother emotional noninvolvement and children's self-control.But emotion instability partly mediates the relationships between emotional noninvolvement and prosocial behavior.Mother' s social encourage parenting style mediates the relationships among mother emotion-noninvolvement,maternal emotion-dismissing and children's self-control and prosocial behavior;encourage parenting style also mediates the relationships between maternal emotion-coaching,maternal emotion dysfunction and children's prosocial behavior.
