The Family Culture Study Of Chen Zhongshi's Local Novels

Whether it is the big family with multiple generations living together or the small family with two generations living together,the "family culture" that has been passed down for thousands of years in China has been running through people's life,which is manifested in the ideas,diet,daily life and even labor and production,and never really left.With the concept of "building beautiful countryside" put forward,more and more attention has been paid to the re-understanding of rural culture,and an important part of rural culture is "family culture".In literary creation,there are definitely not a few works that express "family culture".Writers either express the moral principles and blood ties of traditional family culture,or express their doubts and criticisms on the development of traditional family culture which is behind The Times and causes harm to people's body and mind.As a contemporary representative family novel,"White Deer Plain" fuses the grand narrative of history with the fate of the family.It reads a thick sense of historical flow and a heavy sense of family confusion.In Chen Zhongshi's other novels and short stories,there are also distinct family cultural factors.In Chen Zhongshi's native novels,the whole picture of traditional family culture is shaped,and the solid inheritance and changes in various aspects of family culture are developed from various aspects.This thesis mainly explores the essence and value of the family culture of the local novels in Chen Zhongshi's works by systematically studying the local novels of Chen Zhongshi,especially "White Deer Plain",and by reading the text carefully and comparing the writer's works.The thesis includes introduction,conclusion and four chapters.The first chapter aims to analyze the clan composition and the role of the ancestral hall in Chen Zhongshi's local novels,and the changes of the clan composition and the ancestral hall,to explore how the clan becomes the basis of its overall family culture.The second chapter mainly analyzes the support of the family culture in Chen Zhongshi's works,the image of the country elite,and analyzes how the country elite uses "rule of governance" and folk customs to govern the family,while the traditional country elite changes during the social transformation period.The third chapter mainly analyzes the ethical relationship in the family culture written by Chen Zhongshi.The interpersonal relationship in the native family is regulated by traditional ethical concepts.In Chen Zhongshi's works,it shows the ethical relations of various families,such as father and son,husband and wife,etc.The thesis mainly analyzes the stability of these ethical relations and their changes at the turning point of the times.The fourth chapter analyzes the value of the family culture written by Chen Zhongshi from three perspectives: the writing of family culture,the history of literature,and the significance ofcontemporary rural construction.
