Research On The Development Of China's Trade Union Functions Under The New Situation

Chinese trade union is a bridge which connects government with the public since the foundation of the Communist Party of China.Under the leadership of Communist Party of China,China's trade unions always play a crucial role.Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC,China enters a certain period,where we meet appropriate time to achieve strategic well-off society and accelerate economic highly growth.Faced with economic globalization and development of mixed-ownership economy,market-leading economy plays a decisive role in this society transformation time.Mean while,labor and employers relationship gradually become complexity,based on this situation,how to develop trade unions'self function has became a huge problem,it indeed will meet lots of challenges.Under the New Circumstance,functions of Trade unions face several issues.Firstly,some non-public ownership trade unions cannot clearly express workers hard not to mention to do their utmost to protect workers' benefits.All these enterprises look democratization management inner as a superficial work and barely voluntary to care for workers education and mental level.Secondly,Chinese law cannot offer enough rights to Trade unions to help these labors.Thirdly,grass-roots Trade unions have not sufficient abilities and resources to solve problems during handling events.The last one is that trade unions have to enhance ability to fit advanced circumstance,to get creative way of working and to transfer itself from political as service-oriented organization.To finish this paper we use methods of literature study,experiential summary and participant observation.Based on the studying our country' Trade unions function development,we take a series of inner and foreign reference into consideration,for instance,Adam Smith' labor-capital contradiction theory;Marx' labor-capital contradiction theory;James Beaumont's multiple negotiation theory;Parsons' structural functionalism theory and our country' labor-capital contradiction theory and structure function theory.Also,through analysis Chinese trade unions' foundation and current development,we get some Trade unions' present challenges and problems,hoping provide effective advice to its further development via Yunnan province Trade unions'study and analysis.
