Nowadays,The English school is one of the most important schools in international politics besides mainstream international theoretical schools in the United States.It not only enriches the theory of international relations and has made an indelible contribution to the further development of the theory.It has a unique research tradition that is different from the mainstream theory of American international relations theory and deserves deep digging and analyzing.The paper explores the status of the English school in the field of international relations research,research tradition,theoretical breakthrough and methodological innovation,and to explore the important implications of constructing Chinese international relations theory.The first chapter reviews the process of naming the English school,the stage of development and the establishment of the school consciousness.Because of unique research style,It was rejected and buried.The second chapter clarifies the core concept of the English school-the international society and explores its inner logic with the international system and the world society.And analysing the value of the international community : order and justice from the perspective of ethics.The third and fourth chapters are based on ontology,from the perspective of methodology,explore the English school of research tradition and the most significant feature of the performance of pluralism.This inclusive character sets up a reasonable framework for absorbing a variety of different international political theory schools and provides an ideal platform for different theoretical to debate and communicate.Next,After more than half a century of development,the English school has been re-emphasized by international scholars after the end of the Cold War,and a new generation of English scholars have reshaped them from the perspective of the world community in order to build ambitious theory.With hightening of the research consciousness of Chinese international relations 'scholars and the brodening vision of research,the Chinese scholars' interest in the English school is increasing step by step,and the theoretical characteristics are explored and analyzing consciously.The English school in the United States is under the discourse hegemony,and opened up a new theoretical field.The successful development and growth,causing the scholors of international relations' attention and research,this unique development processes for the construction of China's international relations theory and has brought impact and thinking.
