In recent years,with the rapid development of economy in East Asian countries and the intensification of social transformation,great changes have taken place in social stratification and social structure of Traditional East Asian countries,the middle class has developed rapidly,and gradually become an indispensable political power,play an increasingly important role in the political life of the country.The middle class is the product of the historical development and the change of the social structure.The democratic reform and democratic transformation of East Asian countries are also an important part of the political development of East Asian countries and regions.The middle class of East Asia has played an important role in the process of democratic transformation,and it also has some reference to our country,so it is more worthy of our attention.This article is mainly composed of the following parts:The first chapter is an introduction,which mainly involves the background and significance of the topic,the current research status at home and abroad,and the research framework and methods.The second chapter mainly introduces the basic concepts.The study of the middle class has a long history.Although Chinese and Western scholars have defined the concept of the middle class,so far,academia still has no unified concept about the middle class.The third chapter mainly introduces the background and development process of the rise of the East Asian middle class.The middle class of East Asia is a process of historical development.The rise of the middle class is not accidental,but the result of the common effect of many factors.The rise of the East Asian middle class is also a long-term,gradual process that is not completed in a short period of time.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the influence of the rise and development of the East Asian middle class on the transition of democracy.The middle class in East Asia has a positive and conservative nature,so it has a different influence on the process of democracy in the process of transformation.The fifth chapter is the characteristics and limitations of the East Asian middle class in thetransition of democracy.
